Today marks exactly seventeen years since the Bitcoin whitepaper was released, and many crypto fans would do anything to have a word with the brain behind it, Satoshi Nakamoto.
Key Takeaways:
- Many Crypto enthusiasts are wondering whether this preserves Bitcoin’s legacy or distort it.
- Should exchanges create AI versions of influential figures, or does it risk misinformation?
- AI bots could reshape how newcomers learn about Bitcoin and blockchain.
Seventeen years after the Bitcoin whitepaper changed the world, crypto exchange Bitget has launched an AI agent that allows users to “talk” with Satoshi Nakamoto. The anniversary campaign is giving fans a surreal chance to ask the Bitcoin creator anything, at least through an AI-powered version of him.
Bitget announced the #AskSatoshiWithGetAgent campaign on 31 October which brings the vision of Nakamoto back to life by creating an avenue for a dialogue with him.
A.I. Brings “Satoshi” Back for a Conversation
Bitget is enabling Satoshi fans to have a “conversation” with him through GetAgent, the exchange’s AI-powered trading assistant.
Users can ask questions ranging from “If you were Satoshi, what do you think of AI?” to “Where would you keep your holdings?” and get responses from the agent.
Commenting, Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said:
“Satoshi’s ideas were always meant to spark curiosity, not end the conversation. Seventeen years later, people still want to talk to Satoshi, and now, with GetAgent, we can. We’re giving people a way to keep the spirit of Satoshi alive, asking the same questions about freedom, access, and innovation, which continues to move this industry forward.”
Apart from having a near real conversation with Satoshi, participants will also receive a series of community rewards to make the experience both educational and fun.
Since its launch earlier this year, GetAgent has emerged as the go-to agent for crypto fans seeking answers on topics such as Bitcoin’s next phase, decentralized governance, AI in trading, and the ethics of crypto dominate discussions.
In the anniversary of the Bitcoin whitepaper, the AI agent is serving as a meeting point for blockchain and human imagination by offering such an opportunity to dialogue with the crypto hero.
How AI Is Changing the Crypto Space
AI has evolved rather fast and has over the years been adopted in several industries. Crypto however has been reluctant in opening its doors until now.
With agents like GetAgent, the technology offers many possibilities both for preserving the heritage of crypto and for enhancing its functionality for the future.
