Google Chrome users have reported that the web browser crashes every few seconds on Windows 11.
The first report was filed on 13 November by a user looking for an answer to why Chrome was always closing every few seconds despite following all the instructions to correct the problem.
Other users with similar problems have indicated their concerns on the Google Chrome page, but no response has been provided at the time of writing this report.
Users complain about Windows 11
Since the launch of Windows 11, Windows users have been complaining about it with several issues being reported.
Following the 2024 update, users raised concerns ranging from too many ads to forced upgrades. They also complained about the upgrade being slower than older versions, calling it the worst version ever.
With several issues associated with Windows 11, it makes sense to suspect that the issues are with the version and not Google Chrome, since the browser works fine on older versions.
Whether it is due to fundamental design issues or other reasons, users have also complained of the Windows version being slower and more difficult to use.
Interestingly, Microsoft released its November 2024 security update for Windows 11 this week, which came with fixes for some issues. It seems the company has more issues to fix in future updates.
There’s more to do
With the rising issues concerning Windows 11, Microsoft has much work to do to improve it and make it more useful to users. Although the Notepad recently got an AI addition, this may not be sufficient to solve the other issues.
As a matter of fact, the company ma need to hold on with the development of Windows 12 until it can address the issues with Windows 11 to avoid a repeat of the same issues.
