Shortly after his inauguration, U.S. president Donald Trump has vowed to find out and reveal the truth behind the mysterious New Jersey drones.
The president mentioned this on 20 January while responding to questions from journalists in the White House.
This will answer the several questions that New Jersey residents and indeed all Americans have been asking concerning the drones which were flying all over for days with no explanation from the then Biden administration.
The drone incident
In mid-December last year, mysterious drones were reported to be flying over New Jersey and surrounding areas, thus causing panic.
At the time, New York Sen. Chuck Schumer called on the Department of Homeland Security to deploy its high tech detection equipment for find out what the drones were about, as well as their sources and owners.
Despite the consensus to deploy the detection technology, there was no feedback on the findings to this day.
After the inauguration, journalists brought up the question and Trump says he’s interested in finding out what the incident was about.
It is likely that many Americans are also interested in this question as well, and are looking forward to receiving answers.
Trump’s other actions
Apart from agreeing to find out the truth about the drones, Trump made other promises and signed many executive orders which will bring significant changes to America.
One of such is the removal of the U.S. from the World Health Organization. This officially ends any ties between the U.S. and the world’s foremost health organization.
All these were done on the first day of his presidency and the American people and the world at large is watching to see what groundbreaking decisions will follow going forward and the president takes the reins of power.
