Apple has announced the release of its “powerful new iPad mini” as the latest product from the company.
The company in a press release on 15 October said the ipad armed with the A17 Pro chip was built for Apple Intelligence. Clearly, Apple is excited to introduce this product, but how popular is it among users?
Not so popular
The new Ipad Mini is for Apple Intelligence, an easy-to-use personal intelligence system that understands personal context. This makes it able to deliver intelligence that is helpful and relevant while protecting user privacy.
While this sounds really intuitive, the product doesn’t seem to be so popular among users. Like any other product, users have given some personal reviews about the Ipad Mini in communities such as Reddit.
Apparently, users are disappointed with the product because it lacks some basic features they would have appreciated. Such features include OLED and 120hz, which they admit would have increased the ipad’s price if available.
However, they would clearly be happy to pay for the higher price if the ipad had those features. Agreeing with the others, one user wrote:
“Same here, I would love a Mini Pro with OLED/120hz and would happily pay a higher price for those, exactly as I wish there was an iPhone Pro Mini. Unfortunately, everyone wants massive monster screens in everything, so I don’t think we will ever see this :|”
According to the reviews, the Ipad Mini is also the least selling Apple product so far, because “they are not invested in its success.”
Room for improvement
With the reaction from the Apple community, it is clear that there is room for improvement on the Ipad Mini. Bringing together the features highlighted may go a long way in improving the product’s popularity.
Hopefully, Apple will implement the suggestions in the next version of the product to ensure that the users are satisfied.
