Samsung is set to unveil the first air to water heat pump for the North American market at the upcoming CES 2025.
The company announced in a press release on 26 December that it is targeting the North American market having introduced the innovative home heating technology in Europe.
After the introduction in North America, Samsung plans to eventually make the technology available to the global market.
A new heating experience
Samsung is unveiling two types of Slim Fit EHS ClimateHub indoor units at the event: the ClimateHub Mono and the EHS Mono R32 HT Quiet, both of which support AI Energy Mode to reduce energy use.
The ClimateHub Mono has an integrated water tank that allows users to intuitively control the temperature and settings, while the EHS Mono R32 HT Quiet as the name suggests is a low noise outdoor unit that uses R32 refrigerant.
Hang Seok Choi, VP and Head of the Air Solution Business Team for the Digital Appliances Business at Samsung Electronics said:
“It is a great privilege to showcase our latest Air to Water Heat Pump lineup at CES 2025. As there is an increasing demand for this new heating system in the North American market, we are excited to build upon our existing expertise based on years of previous experiences, to introduce convenient, powerful solutions to our customers, meeting these requirements.”
Both the indoor and outdoor units are designed for optimal performance. The indoor units are designed to primarily reduce thermal loss during internal hot water supply operations and the EHS Mono R32 HT Quiet ensures reliable performance even in temperatures as low as -30°C.
