Gaming company, PlayStation, is set to launch Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered games on February 14 2025 in partnership with Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics.
The company announced the upcoming launch in a tweet on 11 October. The game collection will include Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider: Chronicles, and Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness.
A major comeback
For those who have been playing video games for a long time, the memories of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider IV: The Last Revelation may still be fresh.
With the success recorded with Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics are now bringing back those good old memories of Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered with the new game launch.
The games will be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 from the 14 February for players worldwide.
Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation covers Lara’s adventures in Egypt to find Horus’ amulet and in the process unleashing an ancient god that comes after her.
In Tomb Raider: Chronicles, the story continues with her friends reminiscing about her past adventures believing she’s dead. This game contains lots of flashbacks that many Lara fans will like.
In Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness, Lara is accused of killing her one-time mentor, Werner Von Croy, and she becomes a fugitive on the run. This leads her into other adventures with a sinister Alchemist from the past and a secret society to contend with.
Major features
The game collection will feature classic and remastered visual options. Players can choose the classic visuals of Lara Croft as it was in the old game, or choose the modern, remastered visuals.
Players will also enjoy adventures traveling with Lara across the world. The journey begins from the tombs of Egypt in The Last Revelation to Paris in The Angel of Darkness, making the game wildly exciting.
There are also different controls for the games, including the original tank-style controls with the authentic Tomb Raider experience, and the modern controls for those who want smoother control and camera movements, among other features.
