Meta has launched the Meta AI app, offering users a new way to access their AI assistant with a more personalized experience.
In a news release on 29 May, the company said this is the first version of the app, which evolves to offer users personalized services by knowing their preferences and contexts.
Through the app, which is connected to Meta.ai, users can access the Meta AI glasses as well as other Meta AI products and services seamlessly going forward.
Offering more personal AI
Meta AI has offered an AI assistant for some time now, but Meta AI app is set to significantly improve the user experience.
Built with Llama 4, the app allows users to choose to experience a personal AI designed around voice conversations with Meta AI inside a standalone app across WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Messenger.
Users can now get more personalized, relevant, and conversational responses from their AI assistants with the new Meta AI app.
Because it is integrated with Meta AI features like image generation and editing, users can now carry out tasks using these features via a voice or text conversation with their AI assistant.
The app also comes with a voice demo built with duplex speech technology that can be turned on or off, making voice conversations — including the full duplex demo — available in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand initially.
Making Meta AI popular
Meta AI has been spreading across the globe as it reaches more countries. In March, the company launched the service in Europe, allowing residents of the region to use it for different purposes across social platforms.
Today, the Meta AI app takes the experience a notch higher, as it brings a more personalized experience to users, as well as provides more relevant answers to make the use easier, which is likely to increase the popularity of the AI assistant.
