After the long wait, Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred has gone live on Xbox One, as well as Xbox Series X and S consoles.
According to an Xbox post on X, the game was scheduled to be released today 8 October. Players who have been waiting for the launch can now start playing on the supported consoles as it is immediately available.

The new game release, which is the first expansion of Diablo IV, takes players on an adventure to continue their fight to thwart the diabolical plot of the Prime Evil, Mephisto.
Players will battle against the all-new Spiritborn class, and invite mystical Spirits to help them in their battle.
They will also venture into the new region of Nahantu and its jungles, taking on new enemies, dungeons and PvE co-op challenges, recruiting new Mercenaries, and more.
There is a lot more to explore as base game updates are coming up that will continue to enhance Diablo IV.
What to look forward to
Microsoft head of gaming, Phil Spencer announced earlier this month at the Tokyo Game Show that the company was set to release several games, both in 2024 and beyond. Among the games is Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred, which has been released today.
According to the schedule, there are many more games to come. After Diablo IV, Call of Duty: Black Ops VI is next in line, scheduled for release on 25 October. The game will be available on Game Pass, and gamers can start playing from the day of release as well.
For 2024, the next releases are Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and Starcraft remastered and Starcraft II in November, as well as Indiana Jones and The Great Circle in December.
