Leading American electric vehicle (EV) maker Tesla may be getting set to launch three new vehicle models in 2025.
によると an X post on 30 November, the company intends to launch the three models globally by the first half of next year.
The models are expected to roll out simultaneously from three of Tesla’s largest factories, including GigaTexas in the U.S, GigaShanghai in China, and GigaBerlin in Germany.
Pushing boundaries
Tesla is the world’s leader in EV manufacture, and continues to maintain dominance with several innovations that keep it ahead.
The new car models however are a new step that could take Tesla to even higher levels of dominance in the EV market.
According to reports, the three new models could be an Upgraded Model Y, a Compact crossover (Redwood), and a CyberCab with steering wheel and pedals.
This will bring the number of Tesla models to nine, since the company already offers six, including Model S, Model X, Model 3, Model Y, Semi, and Cybertruck.
An informant also stated that Tesla will use the same “skateboard” for all 3 variants. Already, the company is working on another model, a larger vehicle known as the Tesla Robo Van, which doesn’t have a deadline yet.
Tesla’s expansion
Tesla has been expanding aggressively, particularly in 2024. The company has brought its charging stations to more countries and locations worldwide, bringing the number of superchargers to 60,000.
Tesla also recently expanded the market for some of its models by opening its first Singapore store to commence the sale of Models 3 and Y.
If the three new models are true, they may become a major boost to the company and customers are always looking forward to something new.
