Inflection AI and Intel have announced a partnership to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) for enterprises and developers with a new enterprise-grade AI system.
In a blog post on 7 October, Intel said the AI system will be powered by Intel Gaudi and Intel Tiber AI Cloud (AI Cloud) to deliver game-changing AI to businesses.
The system is already available through the AI Cloud, and customers can start ordering in Q1 2025.
A comprehensive AI solution for enterprises
It takes a lot to build an AI system, and most businesses can’t afford the infrastructural demands. According to the blog, Inflection intends to solve this problem by providing a comprehensive AI solution for enterprises.
Inflection AI COO Ted Shelton said:
“Every CEO and CTO we speak to is frustrated that existing AI tools on the market aren’t truly enterprise-grade. Enterprise organizations need more than generic off-the-shelf AI, but they don’t have the expertise to fine-tune a model themselves. We’re proud to offer an AI system that solves these problems, and with the performance gains we see from running on Intel Gaudi, we know it can scale to meet the needs of any enterprise.”
Built on Inflection 3.0, the system empowers enterprise customers’ workforces with a virtual AI co-worker specifically trained to fit each company’s data, policies and culture.
With the Intel Gaudi 3 AI accelerator which ensures flexibility and scalability for high-impact results, the system will bring high performance to enterprises to meet the needs of customers.
Removing barriers to GenAI
The difficulty and cost associated with building AI systems has been a barrier to entry for many enterprises.
Inflection for Enterprise removes this barrier and helps businesses to scale quickly by providing application templates designed to let businesses avoid the process of hardware testing and model building as well as saving cost.
Enterprises can purchase Inflection for Enterprise on a complete turnkey AI appliance in Q1 2025. Inflection says the system will perform better than the Pi consumer application, and is fine-tuned based on human feedback to ensure enhanced ownership and security.
