Honda is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its Gold Wing motorcycle with special styling updates and commemorative gifts for the 2025 model.
The company stated on 4 February that the 2025 Gold Wing lineup features exclusive design elements to mark the occasion.
A legacy of innovation
The Gold Wing has been dominant in the touring motorcycle segment since its introduction in 1975. Over the years, it has offered long-distance riders unmatched comfort and impressive performance.
Among the key updates are unique colors, bold anniversary badges, and a special “Since 1975” display on the meter’s opening ceremony.
This year’s Gold Wing will see an addition of wireless compatibility for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, increasing connectivity for riders.
Buyers of the 2025 Gold Wing models will receive two exclusive commemorative items: a coffee-table book chronicling the model’s history and a 1:12 scale tabletop model featuring both the 1975 and 2025 versions.
Honda will celebrate this milestone with a dedicated display and exclusive activities lined up at the upcoming Daytona Bike Week. Colin Miller, the Manager of Public Relations at American Honda explained the model’s impact on the motorcycle industry.
Miller said Gold Wing’s development and improvements have been customer-led to cater to their preferences, explaining why the 2025 model has been improved with remarkable touches.
Celebrating dominance in motorcycle manufacture
Honda has been taking huge strides in the motorcycle space. It is known to manufacture customer-focused bikes, which has increased its popularity in the market.
Recently, the auto giant unveiled a new on-road motorcycle designed exclusively for U.S. law enforcement agencies.
Based on the NT1100 sport-touring model, this motorcycle features exclusive components for police work, including lightweight design for maneuverability and comfort features. It also has safety-focused elements like LED lighting and adjustable windscreen.
