As popular electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Tesla continues to bring new products and features into the automotive market (and beyond), it seems to be also working on a Cyber SUV design, which would combine the stainless steel exterior of the Tesla Cybertruck with SUV elements.
Specifically, Tesla appears to be teasing a Cyber SUV model in its new ‘Sustainable Abundance’ vidéo, showing autonomous molding of the Cybercab clay models, with several models of a Cybertruck-inspired SUV clearly visible in the back, as X user Sawyer Merritt noted on September 1.
Tesla finally appeasing full-size SUV fans?
As it happens, consumers and fans have been asking for a full-size SUV in Tesla’s lineup for some time now, and the Model S luxury sedan and the Model X luxury SUV haven’t managed to appease their wishes, as they had the seats but not the space or the affordability they were looking for.
Then came the Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y as sedan and crossover vehicles, launching the company into the mass-market category, and the Tesla Cybertruck came out as its first-ever pickup design, and full-size SUV fans have been left out in the cold – something that could change soon.
That said, the company stated in its Q4 2024 Shareholder Deck that it would not use Cybertruck’s stainless steel exoskeleton in future vehicles in the top line. However, it doesn’t necessarily mean that its leadership hasn’t changed its mind in the meantime or that other materials are out of the question.

Meanwhile, a mysterious small Tesla vehicle has made its appearance, albeit hidden under a tarp, during a recent drone flyover of the Giga Texas complex, where Tesla has been crash testing some of its cars, and many observers believe that this could be the Tesla Cybercab or a more affordable Tesla car.
