FromSoftware, Inc. and Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. have teamed up to launch ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN in 2025.
An announcement by Bandai Namco on 13 December says the game will be getting a standalone multiplayer co-op action survival game, and will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.Ā
The gameplay
The game challenges players to join forces in order to defeat the Nightlord in a co-op multiplayer PVE combat against a harsh and unforgiving world.
Players may choose to team up in squads of three or go solo at their own peril to outlast a three day-and-night cycle.
The game also tests playersā mental strength as they have to make quick decisions about combat and exploration across changing maps in preparation to defeat powerful bosses at the end of each day.
After conquering the boss at the end of the night, they wake up to bigger challenges the next morning until they get to face the chosen Nightlord on the third night.
Nightfarers will need to team up with their unique abilities to succeed in these challenges as going solo is of great peril.
Win or lose
While successful players are brought closer to defeating the realm of the Nightlord and unraveling the story behind each Hero, Players who lose will receive relics with which they can build up unique characters fitted to their unique play styles, so thereās something for everyone.
ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN is also full of adventures, as players never experience the same journey twice as enemies.
Also with ever-shifting rewards and Limveld that evolve in each session in the realm of the Nightlord, the adventure intensifies as players venture deeper into the more dangerous parts of the map while uncovering more powerful weapons and greater Rune rewards.
The initial ELDEN RING has been a massive success, and Sony has indicated interest in acquiring FromSoftware parent company, Kadokawa, which is revolutionary for ELDEN RING and the entire gaming industry.
You can order the game on supported platforms ā STeam, PS4 and 5, Xbox, and on G2A.
