Elon Musk’s xAI is popular for Grok, its X-based chatbot which is now going global. The company has just inked a partnership with El Salvador to kick off the world’s first nationwide AI education program in the country.
xAI shared the announcement on its official X account where it said the training will cover all public schools in the country with over one million children participating. The program will bring personalized Grok tutoring to every participant to educate them about the use of AI.
The training will run for two years, with xAI deploying Grok across more than 5,000 public schools and empower thousands of teachers as collaborative partners. The company will use adaptive, curriculum-aligned tutoring to ensure that each student moves at their pace, preferences, and mastery level to get world-class education.
xAI facilitates AI Adoption with Grok Education
xAI is one of the top AI companies in the U.S., and Grok is currently rising in popularity quite rapidly. Recent ratings show that the app is the most popular in Google Play Store of all AI apps. Now, the chatbot is covering more grounds with the new partnership.
The company will harness Grok’s frontier capabilities to accelerate large-scale learning and bridge educational gaps to bring innovation that benefits humanity. This will make Grok and AI education readily available to many more children worldwide and enlighten them on its use. El Salvador president Nayib Bukele said:

This adoption of Grok for education in the country will empower the younger generation to take the lead in AI technology. Grok is already used in building robots which Elon Musk says are the future of most areas of human existence.
El Salvador Embraces Technology
El Salvador under president Bukele has embraced technology remarkably, starting with cryptocurrencies. The country became the first in the world to adopt Bitcoin as a legal tender, so it’s hardly surprising that it is now opening its doors to AI.
Once a backward third-world country, El Salvador is on its way to becoming a global technological hub for crypto, AI, and other technologies if it continues in this path. Especially as it trains school children to master such technologies.
