Apple introduced its personal intelligence system, Apple Intelligence, to iPhone, iPad, and Mac late last month, and it has been well received.
Recently, Users of these devices have come out publicly to say that Apple Intelligence serves them better than Siri, an AI virtual assistant that uses voice recognition to perform tasks on Apple devices.
A close comparison
Apple Intelligence and Siri are similar in many ways, one of which is that they both use artificial intelligence to get things done.
Before Apple Intelligence came to these devices, Siri was the virtual assistant available to users, but it seems it is getting replaced quickly.
Members of the Apple community on Reddit voiced their feelings on the new feature, many of which believe Apple Intelligence is great. One of them wrote:
“I’ve been running the beta for a couple months and this is one of the biggest features for me and I am completely dumbfounded that it took until iOS 18 to release it lol. Better late than never!”
The sentiment is no surprise because Apple Intelligence helps with many tasks, including helping users refine their writing, prioritizing notifications, and making it possible to search for anything by simply describing it, among other functions.
This is a lot more than what Siri could do, namely dictating text and providing information.
Other major Apple improvements
Apart from Apple Intelligence, Apple has added other new features and products this year. Last month, it added a new feature to Business Connect that enables businesses to find more customers.
The company also introduced the iPad Mini as its latest product around the same time which wasn’t so popular, and many other products have been launched since.
Of all the products and features however, Apple Intelligence remains one of the most popular judging from users’ feedback.
