Asus and Xbox have entered a partnership to launch two new handheld game series, the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X.
In a press release on 9 June, Asus said the new handheld games are built for comfort, fun, performance, and the best user experience, thanks to a combination of the two partners’ technologies.

Asus has always taken ergonomics very seriously, but it took it to another level for these two games. To Ensure the best gaming experience, they are armed with larger contoured hand grips that make gaming for hours a breeze.
They also feature a redesigned palm wrest and custom texturing to keep you locked on target, the ABXY buttons and joystick locations Xbox gamers are familiar with.
There are also impulse triggers on the The ROG Xbox Ally X for more detailed haptic feedback in supported games for more nuance and immersion.
Their performance is also out of this world.The ROG Xbox Ally offers a console-caliber performance with its AMD Ryzen Z2 A Processor at low wattages and improved battery life.
Further, the ROG Xbox Ally X is designed for those looking for the absolute best performance. It comes with more graphical power and higher frame rates with the AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor.
In terms of display, they both feature the best display in handheld gaming yet, with 500 nits of peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate backed by FreeSync Premium to minimize stutter and screen tearing.
Finally, Asus went into AI this time with the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme-equipped ROG Xbox Ally X, which also features an onboard NPU.
